Sometimes when our backs are up against the wall, we can surprise ourselves with what we are truly capable of. We can push off those walls and discover something deep within ourselves. We just have to make sure we do not create walls within ourselves, or between us and other people. Walls are for scaling. Or for knocking down and crumbling.

What people are looking for is you. As a leader, people need you to be clear about and demonstrate a passion for your purpose. They want to know that you practice your values consistently. And they absolutely want to know that you lead from your heart as well as your head. People are not looking for you to say the perfect words. They are looking for you to show up, being absolutely real and believable. They are seeking to believe.

I guess this is a place that people come for something to do, but there's not really much to do but walk around in circles.

I help her by not getting in her way. She has done lot of things she hadn't done before, taken a lot of trips. She had spoken on the steps of the Capitol and before one of the House committees in Washington.

It shows where we are going as a team. We are starting to win in the championship season. Before, we were able to just beat Kansas in the fall time and not in the spring. We are still relatively a young team, but we are starting to close the gap against KU, and we will see them again next weekend.

A lot of people told her she wouldn't do much of anything. She has raised three girls, has gone to college and been married 24 years.
